About the Role
We Work Remotely — the world’s largest remote work community — is hiring a contract SEO Specialist to supercharge our organic growth. You’ll take ownership of audits, strategy, and execution to help more job seekers and employers discover WWR through search.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a comprehensive technical SEO audit (Core Web Vitals, structure, crawlability)

  • Build and execute a full-funnel SEO strategy for both employers and job seekers

  • Research and optimize for high-intent remote work keywords

  • Audit existing content and landing pages and provide optimization recommendations

  • Analyze performance using tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush

  • Set up a reporting system to track KPIs and growth metrics

  • Collaborate with marketing to align SEO efforts with broader campaigns

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in SEO (technical, content, and on-page)

  • Skilled in keyword research, internal linking, and site architecture

  • Strong understanding of performance optimization best practices

  • Familiarity with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.

  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable plans

  • Bonus: SEO experience with marketplaces or job platforms
