Role: Technical Lead – Wallets
Tether is hiring a Technical Lead to guide the design and development of its next-gen crypto wallets. This role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, requiring collaboration with product and project teams to deliver top-notch crypto wallet experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead development of crypto wallets and backend systems

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to hit product milestones

  • Drive performance, security, and scalability best practices

  • Mentor engineers and uphold technical excellence

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience

  • 2–3+ years in a technical leadership role

  • Expertise with crypto wallets, DeFi protocols, and Web3 stacks (EVM, Solidity, ethers.js/web3.js)

  • Strong experience with NodeJS and React Native

  • Experience with C++, OS internals, cryptography, and networking

  • Knowledge of P2P and distributed systems is a plus

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field

  • Startup mindset and excellent communication skills
