📌 About the Role
As the Head of Operations, you’ll lead the end-to-end operational workflow of Solé Bicycles — covering e-commerce fulfillment, customer service, retail, and logistics. Your mission is to ensure smooth, profitable, and efficient operations while staying aligned with the brand’s standards.
🔑 Responsibilities
✅ Oversee domestic operations: inventory management, inbounding, fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
✅ Manage international operations: coordinate overseas order flow and processing.
✅ Lead & improve customer service team performance using Gorgias + internal systems.
✅ Own operational processes for the web business, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
✅ Oversee daily operations and staff at the physical retail store.
✅ Audit & improve internal systems/processes using Confluence & Asana.
✅ Collaborate with finance, marketing, and product teams for smooth execution.
✅ Analyze & optimize KPIs: fulfillment speed, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency.
✅ Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and scale ops systems.
✅ Requirements
🎯 5+ years of operations leadership (e-commerce, retail, or DTC preferred).
🚚 Proven success in fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and retail ops.
🤝 Cross-functional leadership experience (internal teams & external vendors).
🗂️ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
🗣️ Excellent communication & team leadership skills.
🚀 Startup/scale-up operations experience is a plus.
⏳ Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time (US).
💻 Technical Skills (Required):
🛒 Shopify (backend, order management, fulfillment workflows).
🎧 Gorgias (customer support management).
📋 Asana (task/project management).
📚 Confluence (documentation & process building).
💵 QuickBooks (finance ops, invoices, POs).
📂 Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail).
🤖 AI tools (automation & workflow efficiency).
