👋 About the Role
As a Social Media Specialist at WPForms, you’ll be the driving force behind our brand presence, community building, and engagement. You’ll own the end-to-end social media strategy: planning, creating content, posting, engaging with the community, and analyzing performance.
This role is ideal for a creative and data-driven social media expert who thrives in remote work, loves experimenting with short & long-form video, and understands what resonates with WordPress users and small business audiences.
🎯 What You’ll Do
Manage WPForms’ presence across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and new platforms
Plan and create engaging, on-brand content aligned with product launches and campaigns
Be comfortable on-camera for short & long-form videos/reels
Write compelling copy and engaging captions/scripts
Analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies
Collaborate with content, product, and support teams
Respond to mentions, DMs, and community conversations
Run experiments to grow reach, engagement, and conversions
Use AI tools to streamline content creation and trend analysis
Manage a content calendar for consistent posting
Monitor brand sentiment and surface important feedback
Track KPIs, prepare reports, and share insights with the team
✅ What You’ll Bring
3+ years managing/growing social accounts for SaaS, WordPress products, or digital brands
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proven ability to create content across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube
Experience with short-form video creation and editing
Familiarity with analytics tools (native, Google Analytics, or third-party)
Strong knowledge (or willingness to learn) about WordPress & its community
Skilled with AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, Descript, etc.)
Experience with project management tools like Asana
Strong independent work ethic, async communication, and prioritization
Results-driven with a growth mindset
Fluent English (written & verbal)
Personal computer + reliable internet
Availability for some overlap with team hours (9AM – 5PM ET)
